In 1980 I took the Myers & Briggs personality test – had brought their book.  It gave me some characteristics for myself of what I am all about, plus other things.  As aa result,   I will tell you about Myers & Briggs and how it happened.

Therefore,  the purpose of the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator is to make the theory of psychological types described by C.G. Jung understandable and useful in people’s lives.  Furthermore, the essence of the theory is that much seemingly random variation in the behavior is actually quite orderly and consistent, being due to basic differences in the ways individuals prefer to use their exception and judgment.

Briggs-Myers Personality Type and YOU

Because it will help YOU to buy the book or take their course on their website.  But, here I can only give you a very short overview.   And I will give you an overview of the 16 personality types and a little sketch.

Perceiving

And so all those listed above come out like ISTJ, ISFJ, INFJ, INTJ, ISTP,ISFP,INFP,INTP,ESTP,ESFP,ENFP,ENTP,ESTJ,ESFJ,ENFJ,ENTJ

Furthermore,  when you understand YOU it helps in your Profession, private life, and any relationship.  And it is always good to know that you are unique and all these characteristics help you in your future.

But another group broke these 16 down like this:

Our spirit seems to be pretty fragile at different times in our life.  Above all, it maybe when we are going through grief, loss of a loved one, a divorce, many reasons that our Spirit can not be what we would like.

Our spirit holds each of us together – because our spirit is so connected to our bodies and mental state it should be at a high level at all times.  But, if your spirit is like mine it is not.

The Broken Spirit Uplifted

Being productive, staying positive, being kind and compassionate of others, having joy, being thankful and grateful every day is what makes our lives meaningful as Dr. Viktor Frankl has said many years ago.  That is his theory on life, there are many other theories to follow – Freud and being sexually happy, Adler – control and power thing.  However, each of us has to decide how to spiritually be during our adult years.  Therefore, caring for ourselves and others and doing unto others as you want them to do unto you.

It is simple and it is easy.

And it has a conscious and it is forgiving

it is loving and it is joy

Happy and it is the thought we each think

When we have trauma in our lives our spirit can become broken.  Remember, do not let that happen and it is a daily action.  Keep up your meditation and prayer.  Do something for someone else, volunteer in your community.  That keeps your mind busy and doing something wonderful to help your community.

There are all forms of trauma that need to be taken care of on a daily basis.  And keep up those positive thoughts and being kind all the time.  These are really good things that we can each do.

The Broken Spirit Uplifted

It is not easy coming out of our trauma but when we look at our choice it gets us moving.

YOU and growing Turmeric in YOUR Garden-even a container

This is from naturalnews.com

Turmeric is one of the easiest plants to grow.  The medicinal root is

extremely low-maintenance and produces ample yields which

should supply a typical household throughout the year.  Turmeric

is grown similar to ginger root; that is, it sprouts from an

underground tuber or rhizome and not from seeds.  It takes

around six to eight months for the plant to reach maturity and can

grow to three or more feet tall.  Turmeric thrives in warm and

humid conditions or around 65 to 85 degrees Fahrenheit (20 to

30 degrees Celsius).  While they can be grown under direct

sunlight, turmeric plants prefer fully shaded areas.

Growing Turmeric in YOUR Garden

In order to get the best yield, it is essential that you make the

planting conditions ideal.  Unlike ginger, turmeric roots sprout in

all directions from its mother.  They are a little bit like weeks this

way.  As such, you would need to choose a pot that is both deep

and wide.  Expert gardeners typically recommend a size that is 12

inches wide and 12 inches deep.  This should accommodate one

turmeric finger that has a few buds.  The size of the container

should expand with each additional finger.  Similarly, you can try

sprouting your own rhizomes in smaller, separate containers and

then be transferring them into larger pots once they grow and begin

sprouting leaves.

Growing Turmeric in YOUR Garden

Turmeric prefers lights and loamy soil that is rich in nutrients.  Pack

in containers with well-draining potting soil.  Regularly fertilize

plants with an all-purpose liquid fertilizer.  You may opt to use

compost as well.  For those who live in colder climates, remember

to add a top layer of mulch to preserve soil moisture.

Growing Turmeric in YOUR Garden

Break a finger from the mother.  Choose a finger that has at least

two to three buds on its side.  Bury the finger about two inches

deep in a pot.  With buds facing up.

You will see shoots in around 4 weeks. you can begin harvesting

after six to eight weeks.

After all my research on turmeric, I believe it to be one of best

the nutritional food you can have in your protocol for prevention

Finding YOUR Spirituality Growth

YOU and YOUR Spiritual Growth

Finding YOUR Spirituality Growth.  At the end of every year, we each should end up having had some spiritual growth for that year.  Year by year, we might not notice a lack of spiritual growth in our lives.  But you would be surprised how quickly ten years can pass without having memorized one more verse of scripture, without confronting a habitual sin in our lives, without having shared the gospel with an unbeliever, without having experienced a point in our walk with God that lit a fire under me and caused me to live differently.  Or your Higher Power, or your Infinite Intelligence.  Having a daily walk with You and who you meditate to and pray to is a growth we do not think about too much because our walk is always good.

Finding YOUR Spirituality Growth

  1. Pick a “theme” for the year.

Voice will be softer

Be grateful every day

Do a good deed without wanting any acknowledgment

  1. keep a journal daily on your blessings

  2. Read 3 books a month to help your spiritual life

  3. Study a topic that will help you grow spiritually

Finding YOUR Spirituality Growth

The Greek word for “grow”, aux nano,” means “to increase, to

become more fruitful or to become greater.”

Growing spiritually means some kind of internal change. And it is just plain hard to make changes in our life.

Work this year on becoming more-something deeper on the inside.  The reality is, few people make efforts to change from the inside out and those who do find that, in comparison, losing fifty pounds is simple, even easy.  External change is difficult but the true internal transformation is a monumental feat.

Finding YOUR Spirituality Growth

Be kinder

Be less selfish

Less judgmental

Less demanding

More humble

Be honest

More generous

More integrity

The list can go on and on

The author, theologian, and atheist-turned-Christian

CS. Lewis said, “Every Christian is to become a little Christi.”

Be that person who “Does unto others as you would have them

do unto you.”

YOU and the beneficial effects of Garlic and latest research

Causes and cures for Dementia/Alzheimers

Listed below is some information from the US National Library of

Medicine, NIH:

Effects of garlic on cardiovascular diseases

Anti-tumor effect of garlic

Diabetes mellitus

Anti-microbial effect

Anti-protozoal properties

Antifungal properties

Antiviral properties

Causes and cures for Dementia/Alzheimers

The above comes from the library and an increase in the popularity of alternative medicine and natural products.  It has renewed interest in garlic and its derivatives as potential natural remedies.  This review may be useful to increase our knowledge of garlic therapeutic effects and improve our future experimental and clinical research plans.  Although it is shown that garlic may have significant clinical potential either in their own right or as adjuvant therapy in different disorders.  However, due to some issues, such as methodological inadequacies, small sample sizes.  Lack of information regarding dose rationale, variation between efficacy and effectiveness trials.  The absence of a placebo comparator or lack of control groups more standard experiments and researches are needed to confirm the beneficial effect of garlic in various diseases.  Future trials on the effect of garlic should include information on the dosage of active ingredients of standardized garlic preparations for a better comparison of trials.  It would also be interesting to explore the effect of different forms of garlic extract on standard drug therapy.  Especially when used as adjuvant therapy.

Of course, it is my belief that eating fresh garlic is very beneficial.  Whether putting in salads or cooking with pasta or any other foods that garlic is very beneficial.  First, you want to do prevention and start eating fresh garlic when you are young and as you mature and develop because it is good for your system.  Garlic is a natural and organic food – use it as much as you want.  I have over the years eaten lots of garlic, when I do eat too much my daughter can smell it on me so do be careful of that.  Put it in your green juice.

Prisoners of our Thoughts by Alex Pattakos, Ph.D.  The forward by Stephen R. Covey and he talks about Viktor Frankl’s Man’s Search for Meaning.

Dr. Pattakos says that Dr. Frankl’s book for Man’s Search for Meaning is one of the most import books of modern times.  Underscores how the search for meaning is intimately related to and positively influences health improvement at all levels.  Along with Dr.Pattakos and Dr. Frankl’s books can start you on the path.  I do believe you need to read Dr. Joseph Murphy’s The Power of Your Subconscious Mind is needed with those 2 books.

I have Protocols for my mind, body, and spirit.  For my wellness protocol in case, I get cancer of diabetes I have a protocol.  And my spiritual life, I have a Protocol that includes these books plus others.  For my mind, I have a Protocol for keeping learning new things and challenging things.  Of course,  have developed and built my 3 websites and it brings me JOY that I am helping others.

Prisoners of our Thoughts

We cannot see what real essence is if we are always on social media, going out to drink with friends, or looking for a partner all the time.  These things take up a lot of time doing something that is not helping find YOUR purpose and meaning of YOUR life.  It takes moving beyond these man-made realities and into SELFHOOD.

Prisoners of our Thoughts

But, I want to go over again with my sister two weeks before she died.  She called and told me and said,  “I regret not doing more with my life.  And I know I could have.”  That is the saddest thing I had heard.  It made me really cry for my sister, who I did not really have anything in common with nor were we close.

YOU and Consciousness, Energy & Heaven & Afterlife.  There are probably thousands of ways people on earth look at the afterlife.  Yet, there are people like Christopher Hitchens who believed in nothing after his body died.  As intelligent as an author as he was and not believe in a Higher Power or look out over this earth, this universe and not say “Someone One made this”.  Could he not think that big?  Did he not know anything about energy and vibrations between the planets, the sun, and the moon and all the putting together of atoms and cells and all these little pieces of everything we and everything in the Universe are made up of.  I wrote a blog about Hitchens- his book “Mortality”.  These atheists cannot see beyond themselves?  I do not know about them but it makes me think they cannot see beyond SELF.  TO me it is very sad and it maybe was a shock for him or other atheists who shed this earthly body and move up into a realm they never believed in.  Must be very surprised and very sad.

Today, I want to tell you about Dr. Joseph Murphy and so this is our continued stories about different people and their story and how they have affected us out here who have read them for years and they have influenced us. Murphy was born in Ireland, the son of a private boy’s school headmaster and raised a Roman Catholic.  He joined the Jesuits.  In his twenties, before being ordained a priest, an experience with healing prayer led him to leave the Jesuits and move to the United States, where he became a pharmacist in New York City, he had a degree in chemistry.  He attended the Church of the Healing Christ.  He traveled to India and spent a lot of time with Indian passages, learning Hindu philosophy.  But later on, he formed a new church in America with Hindu ideologies.  He moved to Los Angeles, where he became ordained into Divine Science, and he became the minister of the Los Angeles Divine Science Church in 1949, which he built into one of the largest New Thought congregations in the country I have most of Dr. Murphy’s books and re-read them all the time and appreciate his thoughts.  His beliefs are:

Affirmative prayer,

Creative visualization

Divinity

Higher consciousness

Positive thinking

Prosperity theology

And probably more but those are the ones that I align with from his books that I have read over the last 30 years.  He passed several years before I came across his lovely books.  And always appreciate anyone who preaches positive thoughts because it helps me.

Have a wonderful week

In today’s environment, whether it is air, water, soil or food there is a percentage.  Probably about 80% that is now toxic to humans and animals that are on this planet.  YOUR body needs to have those toxins pulled out of your body.  Because if left in the body there is an accumulation of all those toxins.  It could be depleted uranium from all the wars around the world.  And the winds that blow through to pick them up.  It could the weaponizing of foods that have all kinds of preservatives in.  And the air that is polluted with many kinds of toxins that have been weaponized.  I have taken organic calcium bentonite clay for about 15 years – I have used it in my bath but mostly I drink small amounts every so often.  There are directions for making this drink and you can keep it in a mason jar and drink a small amount every week or so.  Get the book and read the directions on how to make the drink and it has a lot of other remedies in the book also.  It is called:  “Living Clay”. by Perry A.  Full of information for a healthy future for you and your family.

I do believe since the air, water, and soil are all contaminated that we all need a protocol of some kind.  Since we are unique we need to take into consideration all of our unique characteristics.
