There are so many things that are of importance to live a Healthy Life Span – but one of the most important is how deep you are breathing = count 10 in – hold and let out slowly. You need to breathe all the way down into your belly.
When I have had blood tests done at the doctor’s office – they will say I have good oxygen in blood.  Breathing is what gets the good oxygen into the blood cells.
Breathing deeply several times a day – for 5-10 minutes will improve the oxygen in blood cells.

I have noticed that family members that smoke do not breathe deeply, they breathe very shallow, never seemingly to get that deep breathing.
